Retraction Policy

The journal follows the COPE Retraction Guidelines. A retraction may be issued when the Editor-in-Chief, in consultation with the Editorial Committee, concludes that the published findings are unreliable, either as a result of honest error or research misconduct (e.g., data fabrication, plagiarism, or unethical research).

The Editor-in-Chief holds final responsibility for the decision to retract a publication, except in cases where the Editor-in-Chief is compromised or has a conflict of interest, in which case the decision will be made by a designated senior editor or the publisher in accordance with COPE guidance. The publisher may support the investigation and may co-sign the retraction notice, but the decision to retract rests with the editor.

Retraction notices will be published promptly, will be linked bidirectionally to the retracted article, and will state clearly who is retracting the paper, the reason for retraction, and whether the authors agree or disagree with the retraction. The notice will be freely available to all readers.
